Into Maggie tea room and amazing place with great experience when you sit down and they have amazing homemade cakes. Had the back roll as well and the staff are very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help you enjoy the experience when your in the cafe. I will definitely be back.
Very family orientated and felt so welcome! Food was amazing and the fact it’s dog friendly and my wee pooch gets a wee sausage or bacon as a wee treat! Staff are lovely and great banter always so happy cheery and work hard for a small cafe with a high demand my daughter loves coming for food me too
I ordered a breakfast box from here two hours ago, and finally received yet at almost exactly the 2 hour mark. They closed out the order on Just-Eats saying that it was delivered about 45 minutes ago. Just-eats is useless no way to even contact them.nnI made multiple calls to the restaurant. They kept saying the driver's on the way. The lady who delivered apologized profusely stating that she was the only one working. I think that they should have been honest with me instead of closing out the Just Eats order as delivered and then misleading me on the delivery times.nnAs far as the food - I'd say it was fine, nothing wrong with it flavor wise that I could tell. However, everything had burnt bits on it, almost like someone had sprinkled black flakes on them most likely from burnt food not being cleaned off before the next batch. All the food was cooked properly. I wouldn't say it was a large portion, nor was it small about 4oz of baked beans, large portion of mushrooms, lots of bacon, etc.nnOverall - I'd never order from here again.
What an amazing place!nThe cosy and welcoming atmosphere extends beyond the interior of the tea room to their lovely staff.nFrom stepping through the door Caroline and Claire made you feel like one of the family. Going above and beyond for 2 lost wee travellers.nYou saved our day.
Stopped on our bike ride today delighted that a wee cafe was open again in Ormiston. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We had filled rolls and a cup of tea. Food was hot and tasty and the tea was delicious. Sat outside in the sunshine. Lovely!
