Wonderful place, we walked round the cloisters. Hope to visit again when the incredible wisteria are flowering. We'll worth going today to see so many fritilaria.
Elegant and interesting. Really worth visiting, especially if you appreciate CS Lewis and who doesn’t?. Just be sure to lock the gate to keep the badgers out.
It was the first college I visited in Oxford, and was awestruck by its beauty. The architecture of the college buildings and large, expansive gardens are absolute delight. An interesting feature of Magdalen college is its deer park which is home to a large deer population. Inside the college premises, there is a lovely walking path along the river which is great for strolling and enjoying the lovely sound of birds and relaxing.
Did a walk here. Such a lovely place with all the walk-through and we went in the church not for service. New building also very nice and old-looking. Beautiful place to be and its all history there
Gorgeous college with lovely places to walk around and soak the green air and the nature! Deer park in the middle always make me feel happy and having such a vast ground space really gives a good amount of walking in the college. I love the chapel and the quads as well. Would have loved to seen the dining hall as well but this seems to not be allowed for visitors.Would love to come back again to see the changes in the seasons!
