Just been for a takeaway, sign on door saying no entry without a face mask, yet there is a sign inside saying stand here and wiat to be served more than 2 meters away from the counter!! So I've gone elsewhere for my tea as I don't have a face mask, do you want customers or not??
I was so disappointed in the food from here !! Tasteless sadly missing proper flavour ! Staff were lovely but I will never return The Bead had the meat slapped on top of bread instead of being inside, mushrooms were added to pilau rice so was never cooked a a mushroom rice ! The whole experience was not what I expected I’m sorry to say and a waste of money The food was covered in oil , I have eaten many curries in my time , but never have I seen a curry like this it was swimming in it Really off putting
As a prolific Indian takeaway fan, this review does not come lightly. This takeaway is hands down the best in our area. The onion salad is fresh, the onion bahji is delicious and not soaked in oil, the mains were and they delivered on time and even called to confirm. Will definitely order again.
Great choice of authentic Asian food as well as the usual British curry choices. Fantastic food at a good price. Friendly service and food ready on time - I can't fault it. I would love to recommend a particular dish, but I always like to try something different and have never been disappointed. Without a doubt it is the best Indian takeaway in the area.
Ordered for the first time tonight from these guys. Rated the food massively. My partner had the Madhuban special which she loved, often difficult to find a mild curry that isn’t too sweet but full of flavour, she said this was. I had the Lamb Lal Mass, very hot and it was absolutely spot on. Perfect heat. Food was delivered hot and fresh and we even got a courtesy call from the restaurant as the food was going to be 10 minutes later than Just Eat said. Will 100% be ordering from these guys again
Have had many takeaways from them over the years, but have to say our last purchase which was a delivery was so bad we couldn't actually finish it. Sent in a complaint but not heard back still a few weeks later. Given them 3 stars out of decency for the food being ok on previous takeaways, but if you are going to buy from them then my advice is to collect... otherwise you'll end up putting half it in the bin!
Amazing flavours, great choice, never had a bad curry here. They even do pots of sauces so you can make your own curry! Great friendly customer service. Couldn't recommend it enough for a takeaway/collection.
We were really impressed with how quickly our order arrived, delivery time was great. Unfortunately I ordered a lamb madras and spent a couple of minutes draining a sickly amount of oil from it. Others in my family had to do the same with theirs. A shame as the rest of the food was good. Just be aware, very oily.
Ordered £30 worth of takeaway from here, thinking it would be almost the same food/standards as the liss restaurant. How wrong could we be! Every single bit of food was cold, chicken tikka masala did not taste right and the chicken tikka starter was definitely not fresh. Onion baji was the size of a tennis ball and rock hard with oil everywhere. The yoghurt in a pot had a discoloured residue like it had separated and did not smell right. Definitely would not recommend this takeaway. After reading reviews on just eats website can only assume they were written by the chef or owner! Wish I’d looked at google first and saved myself the hassle and money. We packed up the food and took it back to takeaway stating our complaint and was surprised at how the manager reacted. He was angry and confrontational when we wouldn’t let him take the food out the back - so unprofessional. I don’t normally leave reviews but felt compelled to this time. Have been promised a refund via just eat which can take up to 7 days. All in all not a good experience.
Fantastic tasty Indian food that is head and shoulders above the competition. The flavours for each dish are distinct and well balanced and the onion bajii’s are divine which is not a word I ever expected to use for a dish that is so often done badly elsewhere. Only small negative is that the lamb meat was a little tough in my curry.
