Very friendly and helpful waitress on first floor, as both our kids has multiple allergies. She checked out all the ingredients for us. Pancakes are lovely too!! Very fluffy and easy to eat ! We enjoyed it very much. Thank You .
Came here quite a while back so I can’t recall the names of the dishes. The waffles alone weren’t cooked to typical dessert waffles texture, but they were good vessels of flavour for the toppings of the savoury dishes we got- no complains here. My friend had ordered a waffle with an over easy egg. She requested for an over well egg instead and the waiter was very helpful with the service. We found that the waffles that came without a side of salad wasn’t the most filling. Overall, it was a nice brunch spot for a group of friends, a family… anyone basically. Would recommend if you are in the area.
Absolutely incredible waffles in a lovely independent restaurant. Whether you are looking for truly amazing savoury waffles or a delicious sweet dessert waffle this is the place to go in Lincoln, they have such a great range of perfectly created dishes. They also have a wide range of drinks including beers and cocktails and cordials such as elderflower spritzers, perfect for a hot day watching people walk up and down the high street. A must go restaurant for Lincoln, be sure to get a seat outside or in the window for some top quality people watching!
Madame Waffle's wide selection of sweet and savoury meals have something for the majority. Alongside their coffee's & other drinks this is definitely a place to come to at least once! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. The downstairs seating are my favourite as it's a unique experience. I will be coming back here again for a 3rd, 4th, 5th & many more times :.
Ok so this is my new favourite place to go. Imma take everyone here. It’s friendly, provincial, open early and cool as flipping flip. The food is great. Bruce is amazing and the juice is great and I’ll see you tomorrowRecommended dishesMadame Waffle Breakfast
We had a wonderful visit to Madame Waffle on Saturday for a little brunch date. The staff are so friendly and the café is beautifully decorated with quirky bits and pieces. I had this vegan breakfast and oh my goodness! I am so happy that Madame Waffle has expanded their vegan menu and has so many fantastic options available. The vegan breakfast was delicious, the sausages were good, you had a choice of grilled or chopped tomatoes and the mushrooms were seasoned really well. You can have a waffle or toast with your breakfast, but obviously I went for a waffle because it is a waffle shop! The sweetness of the waffle worked really well with the rest of the breakfast. I want to go back and try their other options but I’m not sure whether I would be tempted just to have this breakfast again because it was gorgeous.
We absolutely loved our visit here. Whilst the food was beautiful the staff were the best part of our visit who were friendly and took the time to talk to our 6 year old who was fascinated by the making of waffles - one member of staff took the time to ask the chef to come out and talk to him who did. The menu has lots to choose from and the food absolutely didn't disappoint. We are looking forward to future visits. Kid-friendliness: Amazing, friendly staff made our visit. The children's menu had savory and sweet waffle options. Lovely choice of drinks for children. Portion sizes great for children. Parking: City centre parking available nearby.
Great atmosphere, Great service. Popped along on a busy Sunday morning, the team were super attentive and the waffles were amazing. I'll definitely be back !
Family run business and the girls who serve you are really perky but not in your face for those who are a bit groggy before a cup of coffee! Waffles are spot on! Light and not heavy at all eoth plenty of variety including vegan, pesciterian and veggie versions too!
We came here for brunch with the kids on a Saturday midmorning. The helpful staff found us a table for four inside no problem. We obviously ordered waffles and these were delicious. The kids enjoyed the sweet options, choosing from a pick and mix style kids menu. I had the Priscilla, a naughty little creation consisting of a beautifully light and fluffy frechly made waffle none of that reheated rubbish you get in other places, peanut butter, sliced banana and maple bacon. I wasn't man enough for the Elvis which was the same but with TWO waffles. The bacon was especially tasty. My wife had poached egg with bacon and avocado. The drinks were also delicious. I had a very tasty caramel latte and my wife's tea was also made with proper leaves. So the food was incredible but for my youngest son 6 our visit wo Madame Waffle was a revelation. He told our waitress that he wanted his own waffle maker so he could enjoy waffles like this all the time. The waitress was fantastic with him and after bringing out the chef to talk to him about his ambition to make his own tasty waffles, they agreed that after he had gotten his own waffle make and perfected his waffle batter recipe that he could work there when he's 7 - as long as he gets his own chef's hat! Needless to say that we thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and the incredible service and would THOROUGHLY recommend Madame Waffle as an excellent place to take your family for a delicious waffle. Vegetarian options: There is a full page of vegetarian options on the menu. Kid-friendliness: The staff were fantastic with both of my boys and my youngest has now se his sights of becoming a waffle chef so he can work here when he's olfer.
