Fascinating Aquarium featuring the marine life of the Moray Firth, Scotland. From May to August 2017, the aquarium will be closed for a major makeover of the central kelp reef exhibit. Come and see the exciting changes later this summer

Story

Situated on the stunning Banffshire Coast, overlooking Scotland's largest bay, this 4-star visitor attraction is a great day out. Realistic displays allow you to get close to hundreds of local fishy characters, from toothy wolf fish to wobbly jellyfish. See divers hand feed the fish, get a feel for seashore life at the touch pools, enjoy talks quizzes and feeding shows and discover the shark nursery. Come and go on your all day ticket.

Nice wee aquarium for little ones to see and learn about sea life and get up close and personal with the creatures of the sea. Set aside around 1.5 to 2 hours for a good look around and read of the different areas in Macduff Marine Aquarium. 
Worth a visit and will likely return for another visit in the future.
The shop has some nice little gifts and ice creams as well.

A relatively small Aquarium but it makes up for the size by an amazing personal interaction by the extremely competent and knowledgeable staff. Lot of patience to explain things to kids. A great place to spend a day.

Fantastic place for all ages get to see the fish and creatures from the Moray Firth without taking to the boats. Plus easy access for wheelchair and disabled, A great experience and a good day out .

I have visited the aquarium several times with my kids and they always enjoy it. Smaller than some aquariums but has a much more personal feeling and the staff are always engaging and happy. The diving show is a highlight of any visit

Enjoyed my visit with my 2 girls aged 4 and 18 mths. Enjoyed seeing all the different fish.  And had an informative person giving a talk on the different species.
