Really like this place. Nice patio apartment. A bit worn in parts and one heater which wasn't working but all minor points. Good facilities. Lovely part of the world. We recommended

it was the low season when we visited so the facilities were ongoing maintenance, which meant the restaurant was closed and the spa open till 5pm only. quiet season has it's advantages though, so it was nice to have peace and quiet at the spa and friendly service from the staff. we stayed in an apartment for 2 with great views on the golf course and plenty of space. the lodges are 30 min to town, so prepare yourself if you're planning to have a drink, but just a 5-10 min drive otherwise. All in all, I'd say that for a short weekend for 2 we could have opted for the hotel (which is in town) instead of apartment, but it's a great option for groups or families.

Very cold while we were there (Feb) which is fine, except the heating is electric, which is not included in the price! A 2 night stay cost us an extra £30 in electricity! Wi-fi was also poor to nonexistent. Well situated, but wouldn't go back!

I have stayed here on a few occasions. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The accommodation is clean and well presented although a bit dated. In a beautiful setting

Heater in bedroom wasn't working and took us until next day to find Emerson switch for hot water. Our lodges weren't sign posted very well, we weren't the only guests to struggle to find our lodge. Electricity bill was very high. £24 for 2 nights and one day despite us ensuring all lights and heaters were off when we weren't using them
