The WORST chipper I’ve ever had, southern fried chicken was dry, hard and tasteless. Chips were freezing and garlic chips were roughly half a portion, the tray was only half full, if even!  Do not order from here we’ve tried three times now and it’s been a disaster every time. If I could give this place no stars I would!

Very overpriced for tiny portions. 3 euro for bag of chips with about a handful in the bag. Other chippers cheaper and get much more chips. Tried it thinking it looks nice but never again. Overpriced and horrible portions. Trying to hard to be a luxury chipper whilst charging loads and giving nothing in return. Don’t get what you pay for. €2 for a garlic sauce with about a tablespoon full of sauce in it.  Would give 0 stars if I could

Nearly 2 hours for delivery, 50 mins late on delivery time. Rang twice and apparently they've no drivers. Staff wasn't too bothered at all.  Pizza was soggy, chips were soggy greasy and half cooked. Snack box was awful, completely tasteless. Also forgot sauces.

Hi  I repeated my order three times in the chipper and the girl still got the order wrong. I hope it’s not poor attitude but to ask three times and still mess up the order is ridiculous. The food is very good though

When order arrived it's was not very warm the standard not good and not very tasteful.. not worth the money. The lasagna was squashed at the bottom of the bag and when I called i found the girl rude and un sympathetic..  Had to cook food at home after the delivery defeating the purpose

Ordered family box from online menu at 19.90 got here was charged 27.90 , was told that's the price difference from online and phoning in an order ‍, chips were OK bit soggy chicken wasn't great sauces are just brown water , there's much better chippers than this place in the town

First class fresh fish  and chips. The staff are very friendly and efficient. They took great care to deal with my daughter's vegetarian order in a separate area by a separate member of staff. Her food  has also always been first class.

Bought a chicken fillet burger MEAL with onion rings and a garlic dip. A straight forward order I would have said, food came earlier than expected but upon opening the chips were missing. I am not one for complaining but it was obvious the bag was not checked prior to delivery. Really disappointed

Got the simplest of orders wrong. How do you mess up a snack box? Staff couldn't have been bothered, like the customer is only an inconvenience. They also think people will wait up all night for a replacement meal after waiting an hour for delivery already. Refunded the price of the item, no gesture for the error on their part. I'll now be deleting the Macari Xtra app, won't be back and judging by other reviews I'm not alone. I highly recommend giving this one a miss and looking elsewhere in Drogheda.
