On holiday with my partner and kids, adults all day breakfast not much bigger than a kids meal prices are really expensive small portions not very nice food. Partner found a hair on his egg staff not got there hair tied back. And to top it off the owner was telling a staff member off so everyone could here kept repeating he was not going to tell her again not very professional don't want to here that when trying to eat a meal especially when we not happy with the meal definitely would not return
Me my wife and toddler are here on holiday saw the cafe and thought we would give it a go but wish we had kept on walking. Small portions and over price cheap food. Wife's burger was dripping with so much grease that there was more grease on here plate than I had bean juice. Lazy staff and poor covid precautions in place. Had to collect our own food next to the till where other people are standing paying for their items, no one way system people just waking past each other getting in each others way. This is the first poor review I have ever made on here but want to warn others to avoid
Very large inside seating area. Seems to be popular with pensioners. Good selection of simple cheap food, good size portions. Lots of different cakes, very generous sizes. Coffee ok, the large coffee only fractionally bigger than the medium. Ticket system for orders. You wait for your number to be shouted out.
Very dated decor, my latte was made with hot milk and what I guess was filter coffee, i.e. not with espresso machine. It wasn't very nice. Staff were cheerful. Prices seem high considering the quality.
Love meeting up with friends here, very clean neat and tidy, staff are friendly, the only down side is the drinks are expensive!! £3.60 for a hot chocolate when cafe down the road is only £1.50 and greggs is only £1 65!!!
An Independent coffee shop situated at the middle of the town . Has outdoor and indoor seating is always clean and tidy with friendly staff and a good menu selection at a reasonable price . The iced coffee is phenomenal and our kids love the milkshakes . Whenever we are in bognor we always visit .
Visited for a quick snack. The chef was not dressed appropriately, the waitresses knew nothing about allergens, and the list was incorrect as I was served...being allergic to all dairy products and previously asking about the allergens, BUTTER!!! The food was very poor quality. The toilets had a lock on and we're not accessible without asking to be able to use it. The only reason this place has one star is because it was mediocre clean
I'm amazed this place has lots of positive reviews. Staff were polite enough, but the all day breakfast I ordered had hardly anything on it. For 5.99 in London you get much more for your money. Furthermore, they don't being your food to you. You have to get up and collect. Usually for a breakfast you'll get two of most items bacon, toast but here it's one of each. Very small portion, and doesn't even come with a hot drink. Had to pay for one separately. 7.99 all together. No chips either. To get all of this in London, yes London where everything is meant to cost much more, would be about 4.40 as opposed to 7.99. All the customers are old, which is the only logical explanation I can think of for all the positivity as they like familiarity. Toilets are locked unless you have the code, which tells me that they may have a junkie issue. I don't expect amazing service, but at least mediocre. They can't even manage that. If they do an almost self service with no table service at all, with low quality and quantity food, they should at least recognise what they are and reduce their price accordingly, the Ryanair of cafes. Instead you pay above London prices for an abysmal service. Avoid like the plague.
Local love pure n simple. All ages, races, people from funny places, come here to stuff their faces.....u nose it baby. Ask for the code at the till 4 the lock on the loo door to maintain high hygiene standard and keep Bognor riff-raff out..Great move. Tons of seating inside n out,,3 public pay n displays 4 mins away timed it! 4 parking nearby if ur on sticks or flash leccy buggy. The food is top,, especially lovely cake n small bites that complement quality coffee n my fave the tea..Great for people watching..Smoking outside..Prices are inexpensive..You can kill time here in peace. Staff are the main selling point though..Friendly, efficient n pretty sexy..Just go already as u won't regret it.
A nice environment for a quick lunch. Covid restrictions in place, a Wednesday and generous 50% discount. Napkins though not clearly available is problem. Staff helpful.
