Tasty foodnOrdered takeaway pizza and some chip dishes. The pizza was lovely and crispy and my haggis pizza was delicious.
Their chicken pakora is honestly some of the best I've had. They do well-spiced kebab meat, and the chips don't need another go in the oven.nnThe fact they do delivery makes them dangerous... for my waistline nnCan't believe we've got a kebab house this good in our wee village.
Trying a new takeaway for the first time in a strange place can always be a bit of a gamble, even more so with a kebab but I have to say, I was not disappointed, not over the moon but certainly not disappointed.nnA mixed kebab consisted of of donner and chicken, both of which were absolutely fine. The latter was different from what I would normally expect though, it was more like bbq, but as I say absolutely fine. The sauce however which was supposed to be chilli, was more like salsa. I also got a couple of pizzas and chips, which were all ‘run of the mill’ fine.nnIn summary, parking was difficult, portion size was a bit small for the price, but all ‘fine’ and would have no issues using again.
Shared a romantic meal with my wife on a sophisticated weekend break. The best way to end a lovely evening. Generous portions, great service and excellent value. Yet another reason to move to Langholm!
