The food's a bit more expensive than your advantage supermarket but everything that I've ever bought was delicious. I love this time of year with these festive meals. Their Turkeys, steak pies, snacks and those amazing sweet desserts. What can you ask for than to treat yourself to these superb things in life.
Managed to get what I went for plus a few I didn't. Can't see me doing my weekly shop here as a bit pricey for my pocket. A lot of products marked down due to dates which tells me I'm not the only one finding prices high .
I have just returned from visiting M&S Irvine. When I got there there were NO trolleys available & no black baskets. When I asked for help I was told. 'People leave them all over the place '. I doubt that as presumably they would want to retrieve their pound coin ? The upshot was I spent a fraction of what I intended to spend. They need to supply more trolleys. Also there were many items with today's date which were not reduced. I find this happens a lot in this store. I am not happy.
Food is fantastic and has some good deals
Amongst many other items I like the small Farmhouse Loaf @ £1.35 , they never seem to be sliced anymore, having to ask a member of staff to slice. Also the 6 loafs on the shelf today were all dated best before today 5thNovso assume they were made yesterday or the day before. Do not feel we are getting a premium product as fresh as it should be.
