Wanted to use my M&S voucher as it was going to expire. Went in and have frequented this branch on numerous occasions. Always neat and tidy. It's not just a shop, it's M&S. Was disappointed to see that they appear to have ceased reducing items reaching their expiration dates like they used to. I remember purchasing seabass for £2, reduced from £8. The spinach falafel wrap was only reduced to £1.40 from £3.60. I found a good offer on my M&S/Sparks app which entitled me to 15% of cakes. I, alongside my son, went to town on this offer and grabbed a variety of cakes of which my favourite has to be the Rasberry Victoria Sponge cake. It's not cheap at £8 but amazing it is, therefore it's worth it. It was devoured in no time at all and appreciated by all. I had a payment issue just before closing time, 20:00. The mature Asian on hand to help was becoming agitated and wanted me out of there. I understand she wants to go home but l felt harassed and not welcome by this woman . I like this branch but people like her make visiting here off-putting. Additionally it's a crying shame the Cafe inside closed down as it offered the perfect opportunity for respite. Overall l would recommend this branch and there is plenty of free parking available. Until next time, over and out.
Great range of good quality food
Busy time of the year asked an assistant to help me reach some bread and butter puddings and to check the dates. I asked if they would get some more, and he replied,'I'll let you know.' I asked how are you going to let me know? He replied,'I'll have you on speed dial.' What kinda response was that
The store is amazing clean and tidy. Staff is very helpful and friendly they have a cafe inside which makes incredible coffee.
Best place to work for with friendly staff, weekly pay, lots of cages of stock to put out for shelves filling and excellent customer service.
