Lytham railway station is on the South Fylde Line. Trains stop here en route way to Blackpool South and Preston stations. It has one platform in use. There is no ticket office or ticket machine but tickets can be purchased on board the train. There is a small shelter with seats on the platform. A defibrillator is located at the station entrance.
It okay, and the station is central... But it reads does need a half hourly train service each way. One train an hour is not enough.
Decent little station in Lytham. would be better if they kept the double track so there would be more trains.1 train in 1 direction per hour
Basic station with a covered seated area and not very much else. Main problem is that there are not many trains. One per hour each way. Need to time your arrivals at the station with the train and do your waiting in a local cafe or pub.
Should be on your list of sites to visit in Lytham.
