Really poor. My doctor asked me to have a blood test done and explained there was a clinic run on a Wednesday between 11-12am, that I could use. I turned up on a Wednesday around 20 mins earlier best fitting public transport traveland told the receptionist what I was there for. I was told I was far too early 10:40 and asked to leave and return again at 10:55. I wanted to sit and wait in waiting area but was shown the door. Only around 3 people waited to be seen and there was seats available. For the sake of 15 mins wait, I was told I could wait outside, really pathetic! I left and will try to never come back again.
I’ve had a really poor experience at this GP since I had my baby. Firstly they delayed his 8 week vaccinations, they said it was due to Christmas but all the other babies I know born that week were vaccinated at other GPs on time. When I tried to move it earlier the receptionist was quite rude to me.nNow my 5 month old baby has to have extra vaccinations because they didn’t store the vaccines correctly.nnAt my 6 week appointment I mentioned my baby spits up and they advised me not to feed responsively and instead to feed him less often, which is outdated advice. Luckily I go to a feeding group and got better advice from an expert. The GPs need more up to date training if they are going to advise on breastfeeding in this way.nnThe receptionists have tried to incorrectly redirect me to my health visitor on multiple occasions who then just direct me back to the GP.nnOne of the receptionists is incredibly rude older lady whenever I’ve spoken to her.nnSome of the staff are great nurses are generally very nice. I will be moving to a different GP as overall not impressed.
Great surgery, moved to the area 3 years ago, and signed up with this surgery. I have to be honest and say the service we have received from all the doctors and receptionists could not have been better. Prompt polite and always helpful. Sometimes it takes a while to get through but patience is a virtue which eventually pays off. This surgeries service is head and shoulders above our previous doctors surgery. Couldn’t ask for a better service.
Never pick up the phone lines been number 2 for over 15 minutes no one takes that long to book an appointment.
Worse reception woman ever ! They Never answer the phone have yiu on hold when clearly they can't be bothered to pick up. I was told 1030 for my appointment waited 3 weeks and on the day they said no it was at 10 when it clealry wasn't....reception said to re book and i would have to wait another few weeks I said we'll I could be dead by then her reply was OK absolutely shocking care she clearly needs more training!
