Very beautiful place. Beautiful long walks around the Dam.nThere is near by parkings available. You can go near to water through the side steps.nYou can go for quite a long walk along the sides of the dam.nnEnjoy the calm water and long walk on sides through the trees. A great place to be out with your family and dogs, nice easy walks and some amazing views! Only 5 minutes walking from the village centre, which is another great place to visit. The walking path around the reservoir can be a bit dirty after the rain, otherwise a very nice place to go.nThere's a parking behind the church, which can be full, you can leave the car in the village parking with plenty of spaces all the time
It is a lovely place to walk, whether with or without a dog. I short walk to Lymm village.nWe go quite often.
Lymm dam is lovely all year round whether walking, jogging or cycling. There are a couple of parking g space dotted about the edges, with the biggest being near to the rugby club which has about 15 spaces. But if you’re coming from the motorway it’s probably easier to use the car park at the back which you access from a side road near to Lymm services, it’s always empty there so no need to worry about parking.nnThe church green pub is near the church, both are worth a visit. And there’s a small coffee truck and ice cream van that park at the front by the road.nnDogs will love it, I keep mine on the lead at all times because they tend to run off as there are lots of other dogs there, but if yours actually return when called, they’ll be fine off the lead.nnI regularly take my mountain bike around for a bit of exercise and there are a couple of tricky areas due to the steepness or how much mud is there.
A lovely walk around this lovely body of water about 30 mins for the short path. The path is very well maintained and perfect for kids or dogs. There's and abundance of greenery, flowers, benches, and places to fish. You're likely to also find an ice cream van or mobile coffee vendor. Ducks and swans also call this place home. It's also just next to the picturesque village of Lynn and has parking nearby. It feels like a world apart from Manchester and it's a great day out.
