Lovely little town although driving larger vehicles / vans through the streets can be a bit stressful ! Narrow and sharp bends some are traffic light controlled which is great but others were not. Loved the beach and the gardens overlooking the harbour.
Sunny afternoon in Lyme Regis, a leisurely stroll in the gardens with a Dark & Stormy to quench my thirst. These beach front bars/cafes are so handy for a drink, bite to eat or just indulging a bit of people watching. Lovely way to while away an afternoon
Great beach one pebbles & one sand.. great lifeguards. The beaches are very clean toilets close to beach. easy to grab food and drinks fantastic little place will visit again
First time here, and what a lovely place! The classic English seaside town. Lots of parking by the beach and some disabled spaces literally next to the beach on your right as you drive in. Beach is sandy but with an expansive pebble beach as well. The sea is very clear in places, and you feel compelled to have a dip. Lots of places to eat and clean. Scavenging Seagulls abound here, though, so be warned..protect your chips! . I really did enjoy it here and look forward to coming back
Love Lyme Regis it is a lovely town. Plenty of nice places to eat and drink near the beach. There is a sandy beach which looks nice but we had a dog with us and the beach we could go on was a pebble beach, quite difficult to walk on and very painful in bare feet.
