Story

The Ghausia Mosque and Welfare Association Have Embarked On A New Project To Build a Masjid And Multi Purpose Hall Facility. This Will Include Imam's Room, A Mortuary, Offices And An Abolutions Area. The Lye Ghausia Jamia Masjid was opened in 1978 initially for a small community of Pakistani's who had settled in Lye Cross. It has now expanded to a larger community catering for individuals from all over the world. The reason for building a larger Masjid is quite simply to facilitate the needs of the local Muslim community, which the current Masjid cannot accomodate at the moment especially on Eid and Friday prayers. The new Masjid would increase the capacity to 1500 people, 500 of which will be Allocated for Women. The Masjid has never asked for or received any public money and will be self funded. Therefore the majority of the funding has come from donations by the generous Muslim community, with large amounts raised each year during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Phase 1 Complete - Cost £1,000,000
Phase 2 - Target To Fundraise £1,400,000

Went for Covid jab, very friendly and approachable. Clear instruction, swift in and out. Also gave info on flu jabs. Nearby, free parking.
I did a vaccine there. Parking no The attitude towards people is very rude, I don't know who it was the owner of the mesechi or who but he was very rude.
Had my covid jab there...they were friendly and very affficiant....Great job...
Absolute disgrace. Despite having a booster appointment booked at 4:35 I arrive to be told I need to join a walk-in queue of 40+. What is the point of having an appointment system if the organisers of this vaccination centre ride roughshod over the appointments. By far the worst vaccination centre I have used, I will be going to a centre that can organise themselves properly for my booster as I am not standing in a queue when I have an appointment!!!
Had my booster jab here recently. Lovely calm atmosphere, a much nicer experience than the other places I went to. Everyone was really friendly.
Had booster jab here, apparently had an appointment. Dont go by that. I was in a que for nearly an hour but needs must. Staff really helpful and doing a great job.
As you walk upto it you think you go through the front doors, but you don't you have to go around to the side door and wait in the queue. I was told my nhs to make appointment, but it was done by a ticket system. Apart from that it was ok
Complete disregard for appointment times. Expect a wait in excess of 1 hour before even getting into the centre despite having booked an appointment. Avoid if possible!!
The people are very friendly and the prayer facility is well kept.
Had covid booster jab there.Well organised and friendly.
