Potentially great venue for live music. Pity that the evening we went the place was like an icebox. The bar was absolutely freezing. If you don't mind sitting in a frigid hall and ordering drinks from an even colder bar then this is the place for you. Even the band said how cold it was! If Lydney Town Hall want to attract more people to events they might, you know, consider switching the heating on? If you like to be reasonably warm when you go out for evening then think twice before booking tickets for any event that's on in the winter here!
Have enjoyed going there to see rock bands very enjoyable good place to enjoy
Its an excellent venue for performances in a rural area like the FoD. Ironically i have been in more performances than i have been an audience member, but I would definitely go there to see something soon.
Been to see the Queen tribute band Flash tonight .Absolutely brilliant. Credit to everyone at the town hall

It is a nice building quite historic to the town of Lydney and it has put on some great events over the past few years, the problem is that it is quite small and you can't fit many in there and some times tickets sell out quickly and to me the building always seems cold regardless of time of the year
Brilliant venue, have had some top band playing here. Well worth checking what’s happening there on there web site. A place steeped in history. The beetles played here to ! Obviously not recent !
My musical theatre group use this venue for our shows. In the last year things must have changed as the people running it are not so obliging and helpful as they used to be. This is a shame as we as a group try our very best to give the people of Lydney and beyond great evenings of entertainment at least twice a year. We are a non profit concern and any profit we might make goes towards our next show so that we can keep bringing song, laughter and variety to the public. We don't get paid, we do it because we enjoy it. So please Town Hall committee be with us on our ventures and not against us. Thank you
Not a bad place for events. We visited this as part of our Children's play performance organised by the School and found it very enjoyable. Loads of space, good stage and all together very nice
