Well, what a pleasant shock. On walking past, I felt the smell of the food. On looking in, a clean, tidy, well lit, open space. So, in I go. Met with a warm, friendly "Hello". Then asked if I'd like a drink. Sat at a comfortable bench. Ordered a double bacon burger, I know, salad is great, but a dirty dinner once in a while is okay. The burger came. Large bap, looked Good, tasted even better. I am a great believer in say what you experience. So I have just told chef how good it was. A lityle treasure of a place for a nice but naughty lunch. And great value for money too.

Great experience, friendly staff, a simple menu and reasonably priced freshly made burgers. The Lunch burger is a classic U.S. burger NOT to be missed if you are in Colchester. For vegetarians the veggie panini is a great option. We wanted to have the cheese fries as well but were quite stuffed already. Burgers taste better than Patty and Bun. Tip - Go with an empty stomach and you will really enjoy it.
