Nice market,boght myself a cap for £25,,food stall there,lots of intresting stalls close to castle & places to eat
The standard crafts and food market is great but the antiques and flea which is on two Sundays each month is dodgy. We rented a table there and had quite a few precious bits stolen. The people were very cliquey, with lots of dealers offering peanuts for our items. The man that runs it was not the friendliest of people. Overall not a nice atmosphere and public toilets not very clean. For a tourist town it is a big let down.
We arrived at Ludlow Market on Friday about 11 am on 11-April. We had fantastic weather so we were able to wander through the streets. It’s such a quaint town with a 2nd hand toys shop, musical instruments, cafe and bakery shops, a castle and church and many more. It’s a pleasure to make a pit stop here on our way from Liverpool to Bath.
Wonderfully unique market filled with local businesses. Beautiful setting. I bought a few baked goods, some natural dog treats, and a large wicker basket for logs.
Ludlow is a lovely little market town offering quite a few quaint little shops along with the market. Coming into Ludlow you drive up through the town passing nicely decorated and well kept shops We parked in the nearby Castle a street car park and walked up into the town. Along with the castle it is a nice stop off along your route if passing
