Avoid this place like the plague . Ordered food at 8:30pm, message sent via text stating food was on route at 10:07pm. Phoned 30 mins later and informed that food hadn't even been cooked yet! It's now nearly 11pm and still no food! Will never order from here and wish I'd read the shocking reviews prior to ordering .
Been ordering from here for some time now. Always been prompt delivery, friendly service and great food. Happy to recommend.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE Made an order for delivery on New Years Eve and it said it’d be here within the hour but we expected some delay. An hour and a half after ordering we called to check on the order and the woman on the phone was rude and said they had not started cooking it and to wait another half hour. We waited over forty five minutes after the phone call to make another and was met with the same rude response that the food was not ready and to wait another half hour. We requested to cancel the order and she told us we had to cancel through just eat and was not one bit fussed. Disgusted with this pathetic excuse of customer service! HAD PRODUCTS DELIVERED FROM CHINA ITSELF QUICKER
Ordered a takeaway tonight. Said it would arrive within the hour. Nearly half an hour late, i called them up to see where the food was. The lady couldn't give me an answer and proceeded to tell me that they had just started cooking it and it would be delivered to us within the next 10 minutes. Once the food finally arrived nearly 45 minutes late, all the food was stone cold and full of grease. baring in mind i live a 2 minute drive away so the food shouldn't of been cold. I rang up to complain and asked for a refund to which i was told that i was lying and that he packed the food himself so he 'knew full well that the food he serves isn't cold'. I was also told because i was a first time customer i wasn't entitled to a refund and told us that they would make us a new meal and that we would need to wait another 50 minutes to receive the other food. I refused this and just told them that i wanted a full refund as i was not happy with the standard of the food or the service and did not wish to have anything else sent out to me as the food was awful. The manager then started shouting at me down the phone, swearing and carrying on still refusing to give me a refund, then put the phone down on me. He then sent his driver to come and collect the food even tho were in the middle of a pandemic and they shouldn't be taking food back due to covid. So they also clearly don't care or follow the covid guidelines putting other people at risk - The service at Lucky Garden is absolutely shocking and the food is even worse. I will not be returning and i think all the staff need to have full training in customer service.
The service was fast enough that I didn't get bored yet long enough to make me believe that it was being prepared fresh for me. I got exactly what I ordered but it wasn't the best meal by far. The chips where scraggly and there was too much batter on my chicken balls the best thing about my meal was the fried rice, though there wasn't any crunchy bits. Overall edible but not great.
Terrible service. Terrible food. Terrible attitude. Terrible overall really. Me and my grandmother had ordered a vegetarian curry and sweet and sour, with rice also. It arrived 2 hours after we ordered and when we rang to ask about its whereabouts and they were rude and short over the phone. Once the food eventually arrived...the rice was stale...it was not the correct order...as a vegetarian it is important to know what you are eating. After going on just eat to complain about this they were rude and would not accideot that i did not receive the correct food. They claimed that the chef remembered making my food and that it was the correct order and was 'quality food' despite the fact it wasn't what i revived and i just wanted a refund. After trying to get a refund i gave up as it was clear to me that they would not accept i did not have the correct food :/ Will be telling my friends and family never to order from here. Disgraceful.
The food here was very nice the delivery was on time and the food was delicious
Ordered takeaway over the phone and collected in person. I wasn't sure if they'd accept the order as I called about 5 minutes before they closed, but they were very polite and prompt they were ready in 20 mins! I ordered the shared starters, two portion of noodles, battered king prawns, crispy chilli beef, two soups not just for myself, don't worry and the portions were extremely generous and piping hot. It also came with a few delightful freebies! Overall really pleased with the takeaway :
Absolutely beautiful food. Pleasant man and so kind. Salt n pepper prawns are best ever tastied
Extremely slow delivery times. Food is appalling. Recently ordered a sweet and sour chicken balls meal. The chicken balls looked, felt and tasted like they were reheated. The chips that came with the meal were rock solid and disgusting. Avoid!
