Hidden gem of a place. Off the beaten track literally. Very well stocked pond, plenty of large fish. Owners are very friendly and down to earth. Not too busy, highly recommended

Fantastic fishery with good quality fish that always provide good sport. The owner is very helpful and always honest about how it is fishing. 29/10/22 had an amazing day fishing here yesterday,  caught my bag full of quality fish with a mixture of rainbow and brown.  The lake is looking fantastic and with the sun on it yesterday I don't think there's many places I would have rather been.  Can't wait to go again.

Decent little fishery, well stocked with brownies and rainbows. Enough there to test your casting. There are no other facilities other than the lake though, so you’ll need food and tackle before you go! And I would suggest a 4x4 or at least a sturdy estate to get down the track.

Only recently started to fish at Bratton Water, but it is rapidly becoming one of my favourite locations! The quality of the fish is exceptional, the dozen or so I've caught so far all taking plenty of line off the reel and fin perfect. The Brown's are of particular quality and well stocked, so you always stand a good chance of bagging one or two in a visit. The owner, Mike, obviously takes great pride in the quality of his stock and is always keen to know how you got on at the end of a visit. Mixing up your tactics brings results here, floating lines and sink tips combined with #14 buzzers and bibios work, as do worm patterns and PTN's. Highly recommended.

Tranquil setting for a spot of casting practice with my new rod, and caught a nice 2lb rainbow to boot. Drive down the track brought back memories of Deliverence! But it was worth it!

This to me is paradise,beautiful setting in the north devon countryside,superb fighting fish of high quality and Mike the owner runs this fishery single handed and is a really nice man.

Absolutely love this place, the fishing was brilliant and the owner was incredibly helpful. I can't wait to go back
