Story

Lowes Court Gallery is housed in an 17th Century listed building and was established in 1972 to promote the appreciation of visual arts in Cumbria.

A programme of exhibitions of Members' work runs throughout the year in the Main Gallery. The Lyn Purnell room provides a gallery space which can be booked on a monthly basis, by local and community art groups.
