Rude, aggressive, told me to get out of the shop. The woman barged pass me to sort stuff on the shelves whilst I was looking at it and huffed in my face. There were signs all over the shop saying EVERYTHING HALF MARKED PRICE, my partner tried to buy an umbrella to be told this was full price as it was winter stock. She was condescending and rolled her eyes. I said that she was being rude, to which she said, you’re rude and annoying, if you don’t like it, get out. So I left, feeling frustrated that someone could be so rude and aggressive. Clearly false signage and terrible customer service. Would love to leave a zero rating review if it was possible.
The customer service here is absolutely horrendous. Would not recommend it at all. There are much better gift shops with great customer service along the beach. One of the workers was extremely rude to us and became very aggressive. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
Shopped here in March its under new management Lovely friendly staff the shop itself was clean bright and airy. Will definitely be back in there July and also in their other two shops on the front.
This is one of my favourite shops in the area. Lots of great gift ideas and some unusual items. All very well priced.
Bought two spades while on holiday, one snapped at the shaft, and the other snapped in the blade. Both lasted less than a week while in light use on the beach.
Bought swimming trunks for my son, he went to have a splash in the sea but shorts got torn after 30mins so I took them back. Useless shop assistant would not exchange them and gave several excuses as to why - trying to blame the customer and taking no responsibility. God awful customer service, poor quality products. Just a shambles of a shop. Disgrace!
Bought a highly cheap cap gun from here and straight away it broke! So the next day I went back to the shop to try and get a refund I had the receipt and the lady behind the counter rudely said "no you will not be having this back you have used it too much!". I would never recommend this shop to anyone unless you want to waste you money on this junk.
Finally a great all round gift shop. Was able to get everything we wanted and even some bits for Christmas. Great tourist shop
If you want to experience a vile abusive shop in St Ives, this place comes highly recommended.
