Very busy but this car park is free to use, plus they have toilets, a bit dated but adequate. From the car park you go left towards Tynemouth and the Collingwood Monument. A lovely walk. Or you turn right and walk past all the resteraunts in the Fish Quay area. Either way is a great walk along the Tyne estuary and plenty of history to see.
Great place to make for a walk into Tynemouth or along the fish quay. Toilets onsite as is a seasonal ice cream and drinks kiosk.
Nice section of beach, can get abit busy when nice weather.. Carpark is free and some street parking.. Free public toilets also.nNice for a walk or just having a sit on the beach.
Car park innit.nLovely view.nYou can see for miles.nIt's near a pub that Sam fender goes in apparently.nThere are two lighthouses.nIt's very peaceful and you get a nice view.
Free carpark with a beautiful view. 10 min walk to tynemouth
