Camping as it used to be! A quiet campsite in the Yorkshire Dales with loads of space and fabulous views. Campfires allowed. Lovely walks from the farm
The campsite is small scale, quiet and friendly, on a sheep farm, in a level field with beautiful views. We like to offer our campers "CAMPING AS IT USED TO BE!", so pitches are set around the edge of the field, very spacious, with lots of room between.
Campfires are allowed and hearths provided. You can buy seasoned hardwood logs, grown on the farm. Pack your sausages & prepare to relax in peace and quiet!
Two friendly village pubs serving very good food & real ales are a 10-15 minute, pretty walk along the lane or across the fields.
From the campsite there are varied & beautiful hill and valley walks through lovely countryside, and direct access to the Howgill Fells for longer walks & mountain biking. Up to date info & guides are provided on recommended walks, places to eat & visit and countryside events.
The lovely Eden Valley, the Lakes and the Dales are all handy for days out.
