It is over 20 years since the good people of Louth had this so-called Post Office inflicted on them. There are a some first class staff there, but the place has always been dragged down by the manager. He is one of the strangest and most unpleasant people I've ever met. This is what happens when you prevent competition. If other people could start up Post Offices, this place would be out of business before long!

Quite simply the pits, the ratings here say it all. Awkward, miserable and obstructive staff who give an appalling service. Ultimately, they know they'll stay in business regardless due to Louth's size, location and the fact there's only one other Post Office in town, some distance away from the centre.

I have never experienced such haughty egotistical, drunk with power,people in a post office in my life. They make rules up as they go, rules that do not exist anywhere else in the country and if you question them you are made to feel like scum. I cannot tell you everything on here but I am certainly not going in that post office again, it should have a total clear out of so called staff immediately. One star is far too much but there is not a lower mark or it would be -100.
