Loved coming today. I love doing the trail with the children. We did two different ones today. Very friendly staff. Very happy to help and explain anything if you need help or more information.
A small but fascinating town museum. Well worth a visit, if only to to see the extraordinary carved wooden bird sculptures, made by the 19 century, Louth wood carver, Thomas Wilkinson.
Went for the day out with my fiancée, entry fee is fair and reasonable. We enjoyed looking around and the staff are friendly.

15/09/2022 Found this place by chance when searching for a cafe. A small car park adjacent allowed us to park for free. Admittance is £4 per adult and £3 concessions. A history of Louth with tons of information and photographs. For the disabled there is a stair lift to the upstairs which I tried and it took my weight surprisingly well although slowly. Coming down again and it travelled twice as fast.
Nice little museum, reasonably priced at £4 £3 concessions. The volunteers are friendly and helpful
