We loved the food here! The cake size was huge and the portions of main courses were just right. I had the soup and it was chunky and delicious. My mum had the quiche of the day and said it was delicious! Lovely service, very welcoming. They have some construction going on in the kitchen at the moment so they are running on a temporary menu, but the lady mentioned that should only be for a week or so as they are updating their kitchen. The shop there is full of lovely items which would be great for gifts! I’ll definitely be back!
Happy friendly place with great service from the extremely busy staff. Food took a little while to arrive, but, considering the place was very busy that can be forgiven. The food itself was hot, and the "middle breakfast" was definitely enough to keep a grown man going for the day. Also, the "Bacon and Black pudding stack", lovely perfectly cooked bacon, and, the black pudding was not the cheap and nasty stuff you find in other establishments, this was delicious. Personally, I would like to see the black pudding cut a bit thicker as it was a little on the thin side, but, no complaints about the taste and texture of it. All in all, lovely, very tasty food, reasonably priced and perfectly placed in the countryside.
Good honest food - can get very very busy at lunchtimes. Popped in for lunch had huge portion of outstanding pie and mash, plus coffee £25 for two. Didn't have room for pudding or cake. They also now serve beer & wineFood: 5/5
Amazing place to have a bite to eat. Friendly staff, very efficient, huge portions, great value for money! We come every time we are in Cornwall! Children's menu is fab!
I haven't had a breakfast here for a long while, and I was really impressed with the quality of the food today. Delicious breakfast. The service and the setting also, was really lovely. We will definitely be back.Food: 5/5
Travelled here today from Bodmin. I'm a massive chilli fan and seen the menu online. Planned a Kit Hill walk with a stop here first. My chilli con carne topped chips in a bowl with cheese was amazing. The best I've had, and I've had lots. Really quality mince and very chunky. Person with me had the home made pie. Was also delicious. It was really busy and we didn't book but still got a table. Friendly staff and quick service. Good prices for quality food and drink in these current times. Will definitely visit from Bodmin again.
Absolutely love this place go there very often. It is in a beautiful location with amazing views and the staff are always so welcoming and polite. They do amazing food at affordable prices and you get alot for your money. If you like motorbikes I think it's either every 1st or 2nd Wednesday a load of bikers go up and the bikes you can see are awesome. Highly recommend this place to anyone xx Kid-friendliness: Such a happy place there is no play area tho but you are right next to kit hill where the kids can run around and burn off steam Wheelchair accessibility: They have ramps for easy access and all tables are spread well enough apart to get a wheelchair or mobility scooter around
Yummy yummy yummy. Visited today for a breakfast. Met up with family. The done is plentiful and hot. With a cracking choice for veggies and meat eaters. There's a freezer full of chef prepared meals which are 3 for £10. They sell jams and chutneys. A good selection of gins. Something for everyone. Even though it gets busy the staff were calm and polite. If you're a motorcycle rider it's the place to meet up. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended.
Lovely cafe & tasty breakfast with a great view.Food: 5/5
