After a call to 111 for my poorly son, I was sent to this treatment centre. The waiting room was busy with barely any seats but seen on time and the practitioner advised me well in relation to care and medications. Ample parking too.
Recent appointment at urology was absolutely faultless. I had had the procedure elsewhere but the Loughborough team were great and I include all of them in that description. I had minor surgery here about a year ago which again faultless. Definitely my hospital of choice.And free parking!!!
I had to wait over 6 hours and eventually just decided to give up and drive home. How they think this is acceptable is beyond me. I have severe tonsillitis and the triage nurse noted that but I was still not seen and by midnight I gave up and went home!
Absolutely fantastic! Last night my blood pressure was dangerously high so I popped along for assessment. I was seen, treated and home with medication within two hours!! I cannot thank you all enough.
Well managed, professional and friendly staff. We were advised that it could be up to 4 hours wait seen by triage after 15 minutes and then X-ray before the longer wait. Lovely cafe garden to sit for a while and the team called us when it was our time for the assessment. Thank you!
My wife, Margaret Jones had a cataract operation on Tuesday 6th December 2022. A nurse, by accident, punctured her upper cheek with her finger nail whilst attempting to insert a capsule. To say the least, I was not happy with her treatment. Unfortunately, the site would not permit the photograph but needless to say she looked as though she had been punched in the eye.
Great service. Got there at 8am, came out 10am. Friendly reception and nurses very helpful. Nice atmosphere.
I went in as I wasn’t sure if I’d broken my to again. The guy in reception was helpful and polite and the security guard was sat in the reception office too. The waiting area was empty and he did sat that they’ll be out soon catching up with notes. Waited and waited over 1/2 hour still no one appeared then I saw on the screen 3/4 hours waiting. The receptionist said it shouldn’t be as long as that but I could go to Leicester hospital if I wanted. So I sat there a little longer and went outside to update work of the situation the receptionist was outside getting great air. After being told there was no cover so I had to be at work. This was on speaker. And I repeated it, but no joy Realising I wasn’t going to be seen any time soon I left in agony without anybody seeing me. First time this as happened but I won’t be going back. Just hope they pay better attention to Patient who are staying in hospital and their families.
We have been tonight and was seen after 2 hours, sent away with prescription for antibiotics for my 1 year old. So many people complaining and having stern words with staff, the staff handle it absolutely incredible and work so hard, they deserve more for being so under pressure themselves and taking the abuse.
Kept waiting in my car for over 3 hours after complaining of chest pains and having history of cardiac problems. Ended up being taken to Glenfield hospital and a 2 night stay after they eventually gave me an ECG. Poor effort
