We were on a ship and needed to abandon in Oban because my wife was suffering suicidal levels of Cluster headaches and head pain due to a severe sinus infection that needed immediate attention and surgery. We were perpetually ignored, laughed at and lied- to, not allowed to see any CT scan results or see a doctor for 18 hours crying in A&E on a quiet night with staff visibly sitting idly deciding not to treat us. A day shift doctor promised to see us after a trip to the pharmacy, but ran for the door before we came back.nnTeam constantly promised to help followed by abandonment in an empty hallway and lobby. Complete clown show. Stay away whether you’re local or traveling. We’re promised medical records 1 year ago still haven’t received any.
Really lovely friendly helpful staff when I had to have an early morning blood test. Everyone so pleasant.
So, i was admitted to Oban Hospital Tuesday 20th Jan.nThe staff are absalutely amazing in Ward be. Friendly, funny and very happy.nMy nurse Michelle has been absolutely brilliant nothing is too much to ask and always has time to answer any questions you have.nnThe little orderly Zena! Little angel, kept me fed and watered even offering toast and tea. Such a sweetheart.nnNOT ALL HERO'S WEAR CAPES.
I have just had an upper GI endoscopy at this hospital. I have had several over the years elsewhere, so I was dreading it. I have to say this is the most painless, comfortable one I have had. The staff were lovely too. Thank you all.
Only been in since sat but all staff have been great. Cant fault it in any way. Just started to have food and its that good you could set up a posh restaurant here as the food is that good. Doctors nurses cleaners and all other staff are 100% if you are going there at all it is a nice place to be and very clean.now home I would like to thank all staff in ward A & B for all the support and help I got when I was in nothing was to much for them and always with a smile
