Great selection of board games in a really small space upstairs in this tobacconist

Lorfords has a fine and carefully chosen selection of boardgames upstairs, focussed on hobby games that appeal to the hardcore enthusiast and adult gamer rather than kids toys. You won't find Monopoly here, but you will find Eurogames, card games, and some seriously great games rarely seen outside Essen. The selection here is much better than most specialist games shops, but hidden away above the newsagents and tobacconists part of the business. Becky and I go here whenever we are in Bury and spend a small fortune.

I travel to Bury Saint Edmunds from Houston to visit family every year or so and always make at least one trip to Lorfords. I have never had a problem with any of the staff. I have emailed David to give him my itinerary and he has always had my purchase waiting for me once I arrive at the shop. After just learning that I can now bring Cuban cigars back to America I will most definitely be visiting one of my favorite shops in Bury! JR, Houston, Texas
