A decent little hotel. We were quite shocked by the size of the family room when we arrived. It lacked space and seemed quite dated. The shower and toilet room was tiny, you couldn't sit comfortably on the lavatory! The beds were comfortable. Could have done with extra pillows for more comfort though. The TV was tiny and attached to the headboard side of the room making it difficult to watch and the children couldn't see it from their bunk bed! Really strange! It was a quiet location, off the busy Bayswater area and the temperature was comfortable even with the window open, we were not disturbed by noise. What improved our stay was the continental breakfast included. It was in another hotel building down the road, but we had a huge selection of toast, cereal, fruit, Yoghurt. Coffee, tea & juice. The staff were so efficient and happy. It was a nice experience and we left completely satiated. I'd probably stay again, but would enquire about a bigger better room next time.
We enjoyed the stay there last month for a week. Guido was very nice and helpful. The location is good, just be careful about the stairs, especially if you carry luggage.Rooms: 3/5
Me and my sister recently stayed at the Lords Hotel, which offered both highs and lows, providing a mixed experience overall. Firstly, the hotel's location is undeniably fantastic, allowing us easy access to various attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. This convenience added a significant positive aspect to our stay. The staff at the hotel were genuinely nice and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, which contributed positively to the overall atmosphere of the place. However, there were a few surprises during our stay. When we arrived at the hotel, we were informed that our room was in another building down the road. While this wasn't a major inconvenience, it would have been preferable to know this beforehand. The real challenge came when we discovered that the building lacked a lift, making it a bit strenuous to climb several flights of stairs with our suitcases. Upon entering the room, I noticed it was smaller than I had anticipated. Nonetheless, it was relatively clean, except for a small oversight - breadcrumbs under the portable heater and some hair on the bathroom floor. The most significant concern was with the windows. They appeared to be in need of maintenance, as a noticeable draft allowed cold air to continuously seep into the room. This made it challenging to maintain a comfortable temperature, which impacted our overall sleep quality. On a positive note, the hotel did offer the opportunity to leave our luggage in an unattended room free of charge. However, we opted to pay a nominal fee £3 per luggage for the staff to control and secure them. This extra service was worth the peace of mind and added to the considerate nature of the staff. In conclusion, the hotel's prime location, friendly staff, and thoughtful luggage service make it a reasonable choice for those looking to explore the city. However, potential guests should be aware of the room distribution across buildings, the absence of a lift, and the need for improvements in room maintenance to ensure a more comfortable stay.
Terrible experience! Small room with wooden floor, so that you could wake up from the steps from above. You could only choose 3 items from the breakfast menu. But that wasn’t enough… WE FOUND A MOUSE RUNNING IN OUR ROOM!!!! There was a big gap under the door so the mouse could come in. The receptionist was very rude and he just offered us an other room…He didn’t even apologised for what happened. Of course we couldn’t stay there and we asked for a full refund that he denied, because we booked the room online via Agoda App and the manager wasn’t at the hotel at that time. We left the hotel in the middle of the night and after many phone calls and emails with videos and photos of the mouse, Agoda returned our money. I wouldn’t recommend that hotel for no reason!!!!
If you have trouble climbing stairs, this is not your hotel. The towels are changed every 3 days, the breakfast is very limited, toast, cheese or jam, very bad coffee. I don't think I'll come back. Walkability: Está cerca metro al centro linea amarilla bayswater
The hotel is in excellent location. Is near a bus stop and subway stations. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes around it. The room is clean and tidy and the breakfast was fine. Recommend it!Rooms: 5/5
I give 10/10 simply because the Latte from the coffee machine was the single greatest thing I have ever had in my life.Rooms: 5/5
Great location and staff at the reception but our room had a really bad smell. We slept with the window open in November which was of course not very nice. That room should not be available for visitors to stay at in the first place.Rooms: 2/5
Booked a double room, 1 nights stay for a work trip. The room was spacious with a modern feel. Ensuite was also very modern and clean. Great location, 15 minutes to Paddington or 10 minutes to nearest tub station. Lots of food and drink options with 5 minutes walk. Free breakfast included. The only issue I had was that I needed an iron for my shirts. The hotel did not have one. I've been staying in hotels in London for years, and it's the first time a hotel has not had an iron for guests to use.
The hotel is in a wonderful location. For someone who just needs a place to sleep and shower, this hotel is ideal. It's kept neat and clean. Our belongings were kept safe. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.Rooms: 3/5
