Visited Lord's for the 1st time last week and absolutely loved it. Staff and stewards friendly, efficient and very helpful. We got off the train at St Johns Wood and there were stewards waiting from the station to guide you to where you needed to be, even stopping the traffic so you could cross the road. Lots of food stalls bars and toilets. A great venue for a day out.
Lord's - the home of cricket. A must visit for a Cricket fans who are in London. High class stadium, well maintained and a neat hospitality. The look of the pavilion is awesome. It is an only stadium which allows to carry alcohol inside with lots of food. Though there are many shops around for food and the craft beer. Comfy padded seats, enough legroom space and lots of toilets in and out. Doesn't interrupts view in any stands. Don't miss a museum though it is a smaller one. Overall an awesome feeling.
I’m a Cricket lover and this was my first time ever visiting a cricket stadium. We did the Lord’s Tour and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Our Tour guide was such an amazing person, a true and passionate cricket lover. Highly recommend!!!
Amazing sunny day at Lord's - good accessibility across the ground. Plenty of food and drink options. Entry/exit options are well marked and manned to support the crowds. Excellent visit, will go back again!
The tickets are pricey but hey this is like centre court Wimbledon. It is more than just watching cricket. It’s a museum and a place of worship. You get to bring a bottle of wine or 2 beers at a test match. It’s polite and easy to get around. The food is great. You could easily take your wife or other half who might only be mildly interested.
Played cricket then it's a dream to experience at least one game at home of the beautiful game. Lord's is a vibe, that we can't express, need to sink in the glory, be a part of the crowd. Have a drink or two, zip and enjoy the sport. Memories from 2 decades back
The ground and its pavilion is amazing. A place yo be for cricket lovers. Money worth paid for 100 minutes guided tour. Would really like to watch a match here now.
A must visit for anyone who loves cricket. The guided tour is highly recommended and gives you a nice glimpse into the rich history of this place. The tour can be booked online or on the spot. Google maps isn’t accurate and doesn’t show directions for the right entrance gate so worth double checking before you reach the ground.
Great historic traditional venue. Beer expensive £7-£8 each and not allowed to take alcohol in on Hundred match days. £1 refund if you take plastic pint glass back to the bar. Toilets clean and plentiful. Shame not more activities for children
Undoubtedly one of the best cricket stadiums. A great collection of paintings and photos in the main stand. Worth visiting the players dressing rooms - would surround you with nostagia specially when you stand in one of the balconies :
