First time I have visited since their refurbishment, lovely clean and fresh. Quickly attended to by staff to be seated. Service at the bar was also quick and staff members friendly. Food was reasonably priced and all meals were tasty. An all round pleasant experience.Food: 5/5
Claire was lovely, friendly and welcoming; she couldn't have done any more for me. The place was clean, the time between ordering and the food making it to the table was decent. The food was nice but not anywhere close to sizzling. *Update* When it comes to customer service Claire is definitely head and shoulders above her colleagues. When you come into the restaurant expect to wait a while before you're even acknowledged and a bit longer before you're seated. The cocktails aren't great but there's still a good selection of wines, spirits etc for you to choose from. Kid-friendliness: Good variety of kids options on the menu, plenty of highchairs and vending machines with toys to keep kids entertained. Parking: Reasonable number of parking spaces with a couple of disabled spaces too. Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible, I'm an ambulatory wheelchair user; the only issue is that once you're in if it's busy you can be a bit restricted as to where you can get to.
Lovely place, staff were friendly. It's order at the bar tho, food was worth the money, good variety of dishes too, reasonably priced.. it's was busy when we went and I felt the staff were run ragged...apart from that I would recommend a visit ....Food: 5/5

Be going there for 48yrs was let down last night by a greasy spoon meal chips were soaked in grease or re heated gammon steak dry I have eat gammon steak or scampi here both 5 star both great value did it change hands lately presentation poor plate sat the for 25mins This has never happened in the the last 5 yrs
Got the megga mixed grill and my two mates got the fish the fish was like drinking a bottle a oil it was that greasy and the sausages were burnt and the customer service was bad dure faceed definitely won't be back

The staff were fantastic, the food was very good, we had a party of 12, the only slight issue we had, the waffles in three of our sweets were very hard, that's unusual, the rest was really good
Popped in for brunch/lunch as we were in the area, has been a while since we've been in but hasn't changed any, friendly staff, quick service and the food was on a par with similar places.Food: 3/5
