I bought a transit in good will from ford, the key fob wouldn’t work sometimes so I went to lookers on York road Leeds as advised, they advised me to spend over £300on a service with them and also there was a re call on the locking mechanism and the key problem would be resolved as it was UNDER WARRANTY. I had the service and paid the amount and drove away only to get home and the van will not lock. I went back and booked the van in for it’s 1st MOT before it was due and they said they would fix the lock as it is still UNDER WARRANTY I paid again only to get home and the van will not lock or open. I went back and went into the garage and asked them to come outside and look at the van as it wouldn’t lock and the mechanic said we are all contractors and not allowed to look you have to go in the office. This has gone on for over 3 months and next month the van which cost £28000 is out of WARRENTY on Monday it’s another day off work with no van as it’s going back for a third time to get it looked at. Transits now have only one lock so if you want to open it and the key fob doesn’t work you have to open the door with the key put the key in the ignition and then push a button on the door just to get in the back doors so its taking a lot of time just to get in the van. I have since collected the van with a new key fob and it is working properly, the staff were friendly and lots of them

Customer service terrible. Took van back for work doing because of a common fault. Was told that van would be ready Saturday to collect. 4pm came with no phone call. Rang them and was told that the van hadn't been started yet. Was told would be ready Monday morning still not ready

Went in to buy a new Kuga. I asked the girl on reception (first point of cantact?)if there was one in the showroom. She looked at me like I had asked her for an atomic equation for safe cold fusion.... So I saw there was a used one on the forecourt the same spec as I wanted. I asked if I could see inside it. I was directed to a man having a laugh with his colleagues who actually put his hand up to stop me approaching so he could continue his story. When he had quite finished I then told him I just wanted to look inside the car on the forecourt. We went outside and he said he would go back in to get the keys. After 10 minutes... Still no sign of him. At this point I left disappointed and a bit dejected about the whole car buying process. If they care this much at the point of sale, what is the after sale service going to be like?

I ended up with a car not as good as the one I went in with. I feel like I've been cheated.

A little surprised how efficient these people are, even gave me a new courtesy car to play with, loved it
