Fantastic location. We had a fully serviced pitch which was slightly sloping and needed levelling ramps. Showers are very clean and warm with plenty of hot water. Site is well maintained. Adult only site - no children. If you are looking for a quiet get away this is a great place to consider.
This place will always stay with us as one of our favourite visits. My wife booked it as a short break to celebrate our Silver wedding anniversary and I never realised until we got there that it was an adult only place to stay. The peace and quiet was something that we haven’t experienced in a long time and would highly recommend this holiday park 100% as a place to relax and recharge yourself. We will definitely book here again without question due to the location and how impeccably clean the lodge was. Would easily rate this place five stars + if I could! +
Just had a week stay in a caravan QUINCE. It had everything we required including a nice welcome pack. Caravan was spotlessly clean. Well done to the cleaning staff! Excellent location with stunning views! The whole campsite was immaculate! The staff were so helpful & friendly. Will certainly be returning again. Perhaps next time we may try one of the lodges, they were beautiful inside. We didnt take our dog but the paddock was fully enclosed with beautiful views. There was even another wild area with walking paths all mowed Cheshire Cheese Inn in the village served Excellent food including Sunday lunch. Also the shop in the village sold everything including really nice bread. Many thanks to all the staff for their hard work keeping the site so neat & tidy!!! We will be back.
Awful customer service. Booked a cabin for this weekend for me and my partner, unfortunate circumstances and my dad passed away, contacted the staff about cancelling and getting refunded but because I was just shy of two weeks before this booking they’re not offering me anything. Not understanding or helpful at all and took over a week to reply. I could’ve possibly found someone to go in my place if they had replied in a decent time. Do not book here.
Stayed for the first time, and have loved every minute of it. Beautiful site in a beautiful location. Friendly, helpful staff. Even managed to get out pizza sorted when we asked very late. Loved the bacon baps on Sunday morning.Service: 5/5
Just had the most amazing weekend away for my wedding anniversary, we spent 2 nights there, and it was very relaxing, quiet, and comfortable. I highly recommend this place if you're looking to get away from the rat race or looking to get off the grid and enjoy nature. There are a lot of rabbits and birds to enjoy, and the odd cheeky squirrel looking for food. We stopped in a Lodge with a hottub, very romantic and peaceful. Had a huge open plan living room kitchen, big bedroom with double bed, and one really impressive bathroom with walk-in shower, free standing bath and his and her sinks. There are too many things to put, but it's a place that's too good to be real...
Excellent site - cabins, pods, touring pitches - with very helpful staff. Very quiet. Lovely spot for a restful weekend. Stayed in a small cabin which wasn’t really well equipped. Hot tub was great!Rooms: 5/5
This is without doubt the cleanest and most beautifully situated holiday park we have been on it’s spotless the caravan which was dog friendly was immaculate and the hot tub was so clean the site spotless and the views are breathtaking There is even a dog walking paddock that’s also kept clean and tidy .. this is a well thought out camp site and also no children allowed which makes this the ideal tranquil location my big thanks to the staff here so helpful and friendly and hard working to make your stay perfect thank you! Rooms: Caravan was immaculate Walkability: Ideal walks around the area
We stayed in a lodge for a long weekend. Gorgeous stay with a well facilitated lodge, included everything we needed. Good location for walks to chrome hill and the surrounding areas. Would recommend! Very peaceful and quiet.Rooms: 4/5
A lovely and fantastic holiday camp. We stayed in one of the many brilliant lodges. And can't fault them. They are home from home with everything you need. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside with wildlife all around you. The lodges aren't cheap but you can't put a price on quality. And that's what they are. They're is a little games room on site free and also a sauna and gym of which you just book a slot time. There is also camping and caravans aloud on site. You are only a few miles away from Buxton and Bakewell. And Longnor itself has a lovely public house, called ye old Cheshire cheese. The Winking man is also near by. Both lovely places for food and drink. The site is an adults only site.
