Really disappointed with this practice. One of my dogs is from Macedonia he had more tests before being allowed into the uk than any British dog. He has a passport stamped with results carried out by the uk charity there, DEFRA papers here and yet this vet still wants him to have another test because they weren’t conducted in the uk. He had to have these tests to enter the uk and as DEFRA cleared him I’m shocked! They also then rang back and left a voicemail saying they have rolo’s passport, I don’t have a dog called rolo!nnOur previous vet and the vet I have subsequently contacted, happily accepted his passport and DEFRA results! Thanks Longmead our local vet.
Unreliable. Just a joke generally. Unkind and stressful, definitely choose another vet. Refused to do our travel documents, because we were new. A month with them. So you're my vets who's supposed to do my paperwork? I had rabis jabs still valid from last travel. Just put us through a lot of unnecessary stress, can't deal with distressed people, then accuse you of being abusive. Only because you say this really makes me mad. Three days before travelling, a total let down. Don't trust this practice.
They are always very helpful and quick to book you in on the same day if needs be to see and diagnose your pets' illness problems.
Absolutely amazing staff. They were very friendly and helpful. I experienced a one to one call with the manager, she was so understanding and helpful. Thank you for everything.
Great to have such a qualified and experienced rabbit and exotics vet as Lynn at Longmead as we used to have to travel a long distance to have our bunnies and tortoise seen. Have also just started moving other animals over we use different practices depending on species and are now also very happy with our experience here with a cat with severe issues.
