Longfields B&B is a great place for an extended weekend stay. We used it as a base from which to tour Fermanagh and Donegal by car and would highly recommend it. We had two rooms and they were extremely spacious with very comfortable beds. The hosts Derek and Darren are extremely hospitable and friendly, and the cooked breakfast is superb, using high-quality ingredients as well as Derek’s superb home-made bread. Nothing is too much trouble for your hosts and we had a fantastic and most memorable stay. If you like quiet country farmland where you can hear the birds chirping and have a conversation with a donkey, then this is the place for you. We will certainly stay here when next in the area and would highly recommend it. We stayed in June 2017 and did day trips to Belleek pottery, Donegal town, Lough Derg, Enniskillen, Ballyshannon and Bundoran. You could also do Sligo town as well. Nearby, don’t miss the wonderful Castle Archdale country park, with plenty of walks, boat trips and cafes etc. There are two excellent eateries in the area; Tullana in Lisnarick (about 3 miles/4.5k away) and Molly’s bar and restaurant in Irvinestown which is even closer.
