I am not big on writing reviews, but I must say that after my treatment, I am such an enthusiast that I tell everybody when ever I can. 

I had terrible teeth and decided that after many years of not smiling, I was going to sort myself out with a full smilemakeover. I did a lot of research into many dental practices...from friends, colleagues, the internet and even the Dental Council, and eventually settled on London Smiling. 

From the moment I stepped in the door, I was made welcome and throughout the journey, they let me know exactly what to expect. The interiors were lovely - more like a spa or a luxury hotel...looked and smelled great. The staff were always warm, friendly and one step ahead of everything. The lead dentist Dr Uchenna, the main reason I went here is well know internationally as one of the best cosmetic dentists.

I might have been able to get this done cheaper somewhere else but for the great job done, I would have been happy to pay more. Good work.

I consulted Dr Okoye as I wanted to have my veneers replaced. I was familiar with her because of her television appearances, frequent recommendations in glossy magazines and enthusiastic 5 star Google reviews, some of which now seem to have been removed. 
My initial consultation went well. While she was 40 minutes late seeing me, I was none the less impressed by her friendly manner and can-do approach. I had several more appointments, during which x-rays were taken. I began to get concerned when she would not give me any rough estimate for replacing my veneers. I was £4,000 down before she would give me an idea of the cost and the figure she quoted of over £40,000 for replacing 8 crowns or so, was just ridiculous. 
It was my feeling that after spending so much money, Dr Okoye thought I would continue with my treatment. However, after visiting my usual dentist who convinced me that this sum was ridiculous (he has no vested interest as he about to retire and does not specialise in cosmetic work) I decided to pull out of the rest of my treatment. I was also concerned that in Dr Okoye’s energetic magazine PR she promotes her practice extensively as a 'spa’, but this seems to amount to a choice of lip balms offered when in the chair and nothing else. 
I am now being successfully treated by Dr Adam Slade, who gave me a rough idea of what I would need to spend on my first visit. He suggested that as Dr Okoye had already taken extensive x-rays that I should ask her to send them to him so that he did not have to replicate them. I phoned and emailed Dr Okoye’s surgery on 6 occasions but they refused to send my x-rays to Dr Slade’s surgery. Consequently, I had to have more unnecessary and expensive x-rays taken. 
I would advise anyone to avoid my mistakes and not be taken in by Dr Okoye’s big PR campaigns and television appearances. The best practitioners often prefer to stay below the radar anyway. Dr Okoye does good work but always having to wait 40 minutes or more for my appointment, the lack of co-operation about sharing my x-rays (I paid for them so legally they do belong to me), the massive expense and pointless PR just really upset me. I wanted to share my disappointing experience so others do not suffer the same expensive and time-consuming fate.

I've been a patient here for a few years and I can't fault the dentist and hygienist staff; they're all great! The actual clinic, however, is a NIGHTMARE to get hold of - they're phones are ALWAYS off, and they don't respond to emails. Today I need an emergency appointment, and even the emergency mobile has an answerphone on, saying they're away until next week; not ideal in an emergency! 

I'd go elsewhere if I were you. I certainly will be from now on.

Great central location making this practice easy to get to! All of the staff are warm and welcoming - from the moment you walk in, which really makes a difference! My dentist made me feel comfortable and relaxed and throughout the appointment explained what she was doing and why which is an important part of the patient/health care professional encounter that I've found is often overlooked. I have since recommended her and this clinic to anyone who is looking for a dentist.
