Lovely place to visit. £12 adult, £8 senior, £5 5+, unders free as of April 2019, plenty of parking, ramps for accessibility, staff are very polite and give good knowledge of the bikes they are happy to walk around with you and tell you about them. Enjoyed hearing the stories of the bikes, tea and coffee amenities, toilets. Would bring the family next time.
In an unassuming building layed back from Oldfield Lane South in what used to be known as Ravenor Farm is this exceptional museum dedicated to the history of British motorcycling. A must for all motorcycle enthusiasts! Filled to the gills with British craftsmanship, and British racing legends. Very informative and knowledgeable volunteer staff who are friendly and give you a guided tour. Toilets and a cuppa available. Wheelchair accessible. Parking available out front. Strange that it's NOT funded by the council hence the fee. As it is the only museum of it's kind in London! Under 5yrs free, children under 15yrs £5, OAP's £8, adults £12. Well worth it. And one of London's hidden gems! In close proximity to the playground in Ravenor Park behind the museum, Shree Jalaram Mandir, Greenford Library, Litten Nature Reserve, Ruislip Rd, A40, and either a bus or 25mins walk from Greenford Station.
There is entry fee... Its nice place... Information well provided when asked by us...
Popped down to the museum today, very welcoming and started with a guided tour of the early motorcycles. It was brilliant to not only see the machines but also the knowledge and history behind them with the staff knowing a great deal. Further on we went into the triumph part and it's full of history including many machines and parts from the original factory. The various models frozen in time and again staff will tell you all about the history of the bike and beyond. I walked out the museum far better for it and with a far greater understanding of British Motorcycling. There's mention on here of the £12 cost but I would gladly pay that to support such a museum, it's truly a treasure for British Motorcycling history
Visited for the second time with a small group and ended up spending a few hours viewing the bikes and having a good chat over a cuppa or two! The excellent friendly staff are very knowledgeable, will explain the exhibits and answer any questions. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Great place, bit expensive but my bike loving wife loved it, I remember when she used to look at me like she does at the bikes....
Amazing little gem. Drove past it for ages before realizing what it was. The staff are so friendly and helpful and know so much about the bikes that it's obvious they have a real passion for what they are doing. For the price to get in, it's well worth a trip down. Had a great time wondering around. For what looks like a small-ish building when you first enter, popping outside and wandering into the "Triumph barn" it's got a beautiful collection. Had an appreciation of classic bikes before, but definitely made me realize just how perfect these lil' old bikes truly are.
Absolutely amazing afternoon spent learning about the history of British motorcycles! Very knowledgeable volunteers running the place & it has been in their family for many years. Loved it.
The main collection is excellent, with older bikes well represented along with the 50's, 60's & 70's classics. However, the Triumph collection housed in its own building is outstanding. The knowledgeable staff made the visit even better.
Great museum! Some fantastic bikes and all the staff are more than happy to talk to you, had a personal guided tour by Pieter who told me the history of each bike but also the meaning and importance of each bike, couldn't recommend enough
