Superb public pool that was the 2012 Olympic pool. Excellent staff, spotlessly clean. The diving instructors are brilliant: patient, clear and professional. The only negative is that parking is limited for such a large site. Also has a family pool and a well equipped gym. Cafe on site has a couple of GF treats and usually a solitary GF sandwich!
Great aquatic centre, with an Olympic size pool. Have been here for few swimming competitions with my son and all the time we had a great time.nComfortable seats with a great view of the main pool and the diving pool.nParking available but we never used the parking of the place because we used underground to get there.nDuring holidays inflatables are usually a great attraction.nAll the time return to the place with pleasure.
I have been going to the OlympicnPool for at least 10 years. It’s my favourite pool in the world and it’s a priviledge to be able to swim there.nI go there around 2/3 times a week and my son goes for swimming lessons there.nI love the teachers there and the staff, all amazing people.nHowever, I need to report the current state of the facility, as it’s going downhill, by the day!nFor months 4 at least! the showers in the traning pool have been broken. Only 2 out of 6 work and when all the children finish their swimming lesson there are many children! there’s only 2 showers available!nThe common open showers, the only way to wash a toddler/child.nALL the hairdryers, both in the training and competition pool don’t work! And this has been like this for months!nChildren and adults are left to leave with wet hair in this freezing weather -1 C currently.nThe toilets are mostly blocked.nThe entrance scanners don’t work and you may be reported for not making your booking, when you were actually there, but the scans weren’t working!!nThe women’s toilets in the competition pool have no covering panels under the sinks, so pipes and what not are open to the public, making it a health and safety hazard.nI say this with a heavy heart, as I love the pool, but the way the facility is currently managed is appauling!nThis is the number 1 pool in the world, and it’s in a state of utter disrepair!nWe still pay our full membership though!!nPlease repair asap the long list of things that don’t work!!nWe need a working pool, and not to get sick because we leave with wet hair during a freezing winter.nThanks

I've always wanted to swim in this pool since visiting during the Olympics. Booked for the 50m competition pool via the Everyone Active app. At £7 per adult this is great value for money and comparable to any other leisure centre. The changing village was clean, plenty of hot showers, and the lockers £1 returnable were well maintained. The pool was clean and the temperature was good for continual lane swimming. Great experience and will certainly return!
