A lovingly restored bar and eatery in the heart of Tynemouth. You’ll find us midway down Tynemouth’s bustling Front Street just through the old arcade.

Nestled amongst the boutique shops, restaurants, old pubs, surf shops and deli’s that make up the fabric that is Tynemouth Village, Lola Jeans bar & kitchen has taken over the former space of one of the towns longest standing drinking holes dating all the way back to early Victorian times. We have stripped back decades of misuse and unearthed some period features helping us to create a space combining classic décor, reclaimed furnishings along with some modern additions to compliment the building. The styling concept was the product of many years exploring established watering holes in every place we’ve ever been lucky enough to visit. Taking in everything from continental wine bars to New York roadside deli’s and Parisian pavement café’s to East London’s chic basement bars. The outcome is something that would surely be the envy of many of the above.

Enlisting the help of local specialists we have lovingly devised a menu featuring as much regionally sourced produce as we could possibly muster, constantly communicating with the producers at a grass roots level we have put together a selection of fresh food we are very proud of.

Our top bar tenders with more than 16 years experience between them, on bars from Australia to London, have compiled a list of tried and tested mixed drinks using only the best spirits and finest liqueurs from the timeless Mojito to fun modern classics like the NY Cosmo. We have also collated some of the best beers from around the world along with some firm favourites from wine suppliers across the UK ensuring there is something for every pallet.

Our eclectic playlist will be providing the backdrop for your visit to Lola Jeans, open throughout the day and long into the night.
