Lodwig Villa Dental Practice is a well-established private practice that first opened back in 1999, and has since used the most modern, well equipped facilities to provide exceptional treatments.
You will find us situated in the heart of Bangor, North Wales close to the train and bus station and within walking distance to the town centre. With free, ample parking, disabled access and female dentists available we provide a welcoming environment for everyone.
We use the latest materials for all treatments including strong high quality white composites for fillings; we pride ourselves on being amalgam free.

Sam and Alison are always welcoming and make me feel relaxed and reassured crucially important as many don't look forward to a visit to the dentist. I will also add that Sam also takes the time to take a 'patient viewpoint' to explain and discuss treatment options; I am grateful for this as it makes a huge difference to me to know I have some control over treatment options and timescales. Earlier this month Feb 2023 I needed an extraction. As experiences go, I was more than pleasantly surprised, as it was quick and totally pain-free. Thank you Sam and Alison. Also a thank you to reception staff as they are always friendly and helpful.
I can’t praise Dentist Sam and nurse Allison enough. I had always had a gap between my two front teeth and always wanted it sorted. I went in for a consultation and both were ever so helpful in explaining the procedure. Allison was great in getting the colour match spot on. And a few weeks later I had my lumineers fitted and am absolutely over the moon with them. The practice is always bright and extremely clean. The reception staff are great and always helpful….. in taking my payment
Excellent dental practise, I highly recommend them. Just been treated by Shamrock the dental hygienist for a clean & polish and after many years of sometimes brutal treatment at other places this man is the best, so much so I am actually looking forward to my next visit. Great job, thanks.
First class dentist in Bangor! Always made to feel at ease with all staff who are very friendly and welcoming. Sam, Alison & Shamrock are the team who take care of my teeth and always inspire confidence with their thoroughness and knowledge.
Sam is 'the man'. My friend recommended him after a calamity at a nearby dental practice for me - I was treated abomibly there. I have had the treatment I wanted and needed with Sam. His nurse, Anne was lovely, helpful and very gentle in her dealing with me. I really cannot recommend these guys enough.
I’m very happy and at ease with Bupa Dental Care Bangor Lodwig Villa and know from my experience that the professional treatment and care given by the Dentists, Hygienist and nurses is absolutely great. Not forgetting all the staff who are very helpful and a friendly. I know I’m looked after by them all as they are a great team which gives me complete confidence in them all.
One really shouldn’t enjoy going to the dentist, however, because of my dentist Sam and dental nurse Allyson I do. They are both so friendly, put you at ease and know exactly what they are doing which is greatly comforting. Please don’t hesitate to visit them should you be at all wary of dentists. From the warm welcome in reception from Wendy and Linda to the professional and friendly care from Dental Hygienist Shamrock and dentist Sam and dental nurse Allison. Always a friendly place and excellent team work from them all.
I can't praise them enough outstanding service I had a major fear off dentists at one point but I have been coming to sam now for I think 20 years plus, brilliant and lots of patience also Alison the dental nurse is a star too and not to forget Linda and Wendy on reception
Came for a consultation regarding composite bonding with Sunitha, excellent service all around, I was given a thorough explanation on what to expect and I’m looking forward to having my treatment done.
