Wouldn’t even give it a 1 star review bad experience. Staff are rude and aggressive .was told wrong information payed deposit to be told my dog couldn’t stay at dog kennels . This was a unplanned trip as my mum has cancer . I was heartbroken as this meant we couldn’t go on are trip due to this . As it was short notice to be told my dog couldn’t stay at kennels .I then asked about my deposit to be told there was no deposit to be refunded.lady was rude and aggressive with me. Absolutely disgusted in her customer care skills for her own Business . Makes me wonder if the dogs are even cared for .
Unfortunately I have to give this dog kennels 1 star. On behalf of a family member I contacted this business to discuss their dog staying for 2 nights. My family member visited this kennels and discussed the stay and handed a deposit of £40. I contacted the kennels 1 day prior to the dogs stay to confirm and was told the dog could no longer stay due to them having kennel cough vaccination to soon to their stay. They was rude, aggressive and not helpful. Rejected giving us a refund of our £40 deposit. Would not recommend this place and certainly will not ever leave a dog here, showed no care when advising the owner of the dog has a terminal illness. Absolute disgrace.
Our first time using this business at short notice we managed to book on the phone, everything seemed ok, Dropped our dog off everything checked asked what time do we need to to pick our dog up, the lady said anytime no worries. We picked our dog up - to be greeted awful and to be told we are late and to pay extra by a very rude woman at the Window raising her voice. Very upsetting as we also had our 11 month old daughter with us too. We never had the extra money they demanded. We just wanted to get our dog and get away from the place. If you love your dog DO NOT USE. Lost our trust. No Empathy at all towards us, as new customers. Get some customer service skills or just be kind.
Our little one loves it here, they are so happy and the staff/owners are brilliant . I'm not a fan of leaving my pets and few I would trust to care for them but Lodge Kennels are outstanding and I would recommend, we have been visiting for years with our daschund and recently Ruby our greyhound loves boarding here. Jane, Pearl and Bob are wonderful xx thank you so much for taking care of our hairy babies.
As a dog mum of 2 & also being a professional dog walker for many years, it's so lovely & reassuring be have true dog lovers managing a doggy business! Highly recommended!
Excellent looked after my one year old dog was worried about leaving her as she is quite timid no need to have worried they looked after her so well when we collected her it was obvious how wonderful they had been there was a obvious bond built between the lady and my dog and my dog was a very happy dog thank you will be booking and using kennals again
Excellent kennels that satisfy both of our dogs throughout our holidays. Used for over 10 years.
