Not so much a review but a Thank You! I cannot rate this place highly enough. Sure you might need to wait a little while in my case 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon, but trying to get an appointment to see my G.P would have been next day at best, if the receptionist would allow it, and at worst, as was my case, the earliest appointment was 4 days later. If only I was able to "walk in" to my own G.P's surgery and get seen the same day, even within a couple of hours like these guys did. The service and staff here are a massive credit to the NHS, but unfortunately, there is very little chance of them reading here how grateful I am to them. If you work here and are reading this.....................MANY THANKS!
Can not rate this service highly enough. Me, My wife and Special needs Step Daughter were fortunate to be registered patients at the centre. It is extremely disappointing that the management of Solihull Hartlands Primary care trust have decided to take the one section that provided absolutely exemplary care and rip it to pieces. This should have been seen as a roll out model as to how GP practices across the country were run. The reception staff were fantastic, they were courteous and attentive without every trying to take on the role of doctor or practice guardian. If ringing before 12 noon it was normally possible to see a GP the same day, there was no 8am lottery, where you spend 30 minutes listening to an engaged tone until when it does finally ring you get the stock sorry there are no appointment left for today, please ring tomorrow morning. The Doctors where exceptional, you were obviously mindful of the full waiting room and would try and be as to the point as possible but the doctors always took the time they felt necessary to give a correct diagnosis, more than that they made you feel important and they really did appear to enjoy their work. The opening hours meant that I could get an appointment without having to take time off work. I will miss the service offered and the staff who provided that service immensely. After researching all the local GP practices available now it looks like the only option I have is to transfer to a private GP service. I most certainly can not afford it but after experiencing the service given by Solihull walk in centre, returning back to the abysmal service offered by other NHS GP services is not an option.
10/10 again for brilliant service with lovely doctors - why can,t all medical centres operate like this instead of appt.only ? hours spent on phone TRYING to get an appt. call back from doctor SOMETIMES offered & diagnosis given over phone !!!!! yes at Solihull we have to wait to see a doctor but that doesn,t matter you will SEE a doctor - brilliant service
Went early and got seen within the hour. Would've had to wait longer for my GP. Doc sorted me out and was out after 10mins
Was seen quickly and easily. Would recommend it.
They are needing to answer there phones!!
