We were delighted with the excellent service we received from Michael Neal-Brook and his colleagues in arranging our wills and LPOAs. I have used Lodders Solicitors on several occasions and have always found them very helpful.  Most recently, after my husband passed away, I asked Michael Neal-Brook at Lodders to rewrite my will and to rework my powers of attorney as well as to manage a property issue.  Michael was extremely kind and patient with me and, with regards to my will, suggested ways of handling inheritance issues which I had not thought of.   He responded to my follow-up queries very promptly and continued to stay in touch while the work was in progress.  There are delays in government systems at the moment, in my case with the Office of the Public Guardian and the Land Registry, and it was reassuring to know that Michael was there to make contact with these organisations when necessary rather than doing this myself. We have had Michael Neal-Brook as our solicitor from Lodders to deal with the complex estate matters following the death of our father. At all times was he sensitive to our initial grief, professional in his dealings and always kept us up to date. He has also updated our wills and power of attorney in the process. I have taken my case to the legal ombudsman as I believe lodders gave me very bad advice. This was verified by a solicitor from another company. I had agreed a settlement with my ex but lodders solicitors advised me to break the agreement saying it was too much because the marriage was so short. The judge felt differently and awarded him a further £100,000. At no point was I advised that this was at all possible  in my case - liz Partridge

Dan MacLeod assisted me with a land option and overage agreement and I was incredibly impressed with the protections he negotiated on my behalf. Dan went out of his way to act quickly when we were put under time pressure, which I really appreciated. Dan was open to my questions and suggestions, he took the time and effort to understand what I was asking, and he explained everything clearly to me. Dan provided a professional, knowledgable and personable service which I would recommend 100%.

Last November I asked Lodders, at very short notice, to prepare new wills and first-time Lasting Powers of Attorney LPA for me and my husband. I found Lodders through SFE, which is 'Solicitors for the Elderly'. This is a national organisation with over 1600 members across the United Kingdom. Michael Brook is Lodders's specialist lawyer and he dealt with us clearly, quickly and sympathetically. He also kept us informed as the process, especially for LPAs, is quite complicated and slow-moving! I would recommend Lodders and Michael unreservedly.
