Having found that the French doors would not lock on Sunday evening I phoned lock and key Barnsley. I gave a description of the problem and John gave me a quote for what he thought the problem would be but explained if it was something else he may have to adjust the quote. He said he could be with me in 30 minutes, it was actually more like 20 minutes. He checked the lock and confirmed it was the issue we had discussed. John completed the required work promptly and with minimum fuss. He left me with a receipt for the work, after demonstrating the new lock working. Very happy with this service and would recommend.
We rang Lock and Key this morning at 9:45 because our front door wouldn't lock. The person we spoke to said someone would be with us between 11:30 and 12:00. Jim rang to say he was on his way and arrived at 11:45. He was very good at explaining why our door didn't lock and what we needed doing. Before agreeing he also told us how much it would cost. Jim fixed our door within twenty minutes. We were very impressed and would definitely use them again.
Had to get our locks changed asap as the barrel broke and we couldn’t use the front door. Locksmiths were super quick to come out, they were at our house within the hour and it took literally 5 minutes to change the lock. The gentleman Jim was very nice and explained why our lock had broken so we could prevent it happening again in the future. Super great service. Would definitely recommend.

Can’t praise this company enough. We had an attempted break-in whilst on holiday. A neighbour contacted Lock and Key they were here within 45 minutes. Changed two locks for more secure ones checked the others at a very competitive price.
Absolutely amazing service! Phoned up in morning and within 1 and half hours my two doors were fixed. They were flexible around school drop off, Jim the locksmith called me and informed me he was 30 minutes away and asked if that was convenient. He arrived, he was polite and professional, he got straight on with the job, inspected and diagnosed very quickly and fixed the problems quickly and efficiently. He kept the areas clean. Thank you.. I will 100% use again!.
