The place is located in a very central and nice spot. The food is also very tasty and fresh. We had oysters, fish and prawns. They were all delicious! The portions are not massive though. We ended up with stick toffee pudding and popcorn Sunday as dessert. None of them were superb. If you are not so desperate for sweet stuff, I would not recommend them.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere in this place, food did not disappoint. The staff were really great as I have allergies, I felt at ease, the chef ‍ really went out of his way to make sure I was happy. I will definitely return xFood: 5/5
We bumped into this restaurant nearly by accident. We made a short stop in Portsmouth and looked for a good fish restaurant. The food was excellent. It was soo good that we sailed back a day later to visit this place again!!! And if I will be ever around I will come again to this place. Great service with smile. Superb tuna. Thank you guys.
Had a fabulous meal with my father whilst visiting Portsmouth. Amazing how tranquil it was only being a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre and other eateries. We must of been served by 4 or 5 different members of staff and all were attentive, polite and amazing. Whenever there's a Loch Fyne in a city we are visiting we always frequent as the food is always divine.
Very high class eatery within Gunwharf. Stairs up to 2 levels of restaurant, bar at ground level. Outside seating area also, with large umbrellas. Staff lovely and attentive, food delicious and expertly prepared. Never seen such huge prawns. Service charge included in the bill.
If you want a fancy, tasty seafood restaurant, Loch Fyne is the place to go! The atmosphere, service and importantly the food was amazing! We had a dozen oysters for our starter, they were absolutely tasty and heavenly! Loch Fyne Seafood Mixed Grill for mains, the scallop was amazing, just wish we had more than one each, we also had mussels instead of clams, I guess they had ran out. Followed by some tasty desserts, the Chocolate Truffle Cake I had was absolutely delicious! Be mindful they put on a 12.5% “Service Charge” on the bill which we found cheeky considering we were only a table of three. We asked this to removed and requested to put our own tip on. Otherwise we very much enjoyed our experience, and will come again
The atmosphere was nice and cheery. Generous food portions. It is quite pricey and they charge a 12.5% tip with the bill. I loved the experience as i went there for my birthday. The oyster bar and pork belly and mash was my favourite. Kid-friendliness: They had a few kids menu options.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you wish to eat fresh fish. Delicious food. We wnjoyed Sunday lunch here.Service is great, thanks Loz. We came with little chihuahua dog and they made effort to mive extra table to sit us in bar area. Well done.Food: 5/5
If you can't be bothered to queue up at the food outlets at the outlet oops this cozy restaurant will feed you well. Usual seafood restaurant prices, large portions. The oysters weren't so spectacular perhaps they did not have a very good type that day. Excellent service. Loved it.
This restaurant has an amazing location, on Gunwharf Quays, less than 5 minutes walk from the Spinnaker Tower. They don't have sea views but great views of the quay from the terrace and it's cosy inside. The food is absolutely delicious. Well presented, tasty and super fresh. The wine selection is geat as well. Service was good but slow and we talked to so many people. It'd have felt better to be assigned to just one person that would have looked after us throughout the meal. Still, we loved it and highly recommended it.
