Truly beautiful place to walk around. Some nice cafés too serving drinking and snacks and good prices. Be warned, the cafés are cash only so make sure you take some with you!
Visit at least once a week and never tire of the beautiful dynamic landscapes. Generally level paths/roads around the Loch so even brisk walking isn't tiring. Fairly exposed so take something warm to wear just in case it gets chilly.
Great place for camping and great walks HIGHLEY RECOMMEND
The nature trail is a lovely walk, as is the walk round the damns. Its a great outdoor experience for children and dogs. Dogs need to be leased, there are sheep wandering around.
Beautiful scenery and a great walk. their are racoon dogs, and fish. the cafe there is awesome prices are good too. Love this place
Beautiful walks around the loch and also Cornalees, visitor centre available and toilet facilities present. Scenery is stunning
Loch Thom is a stunning place to plant your bottom and do a spot of fishing whilst taking in the views. During the summer months the Loch is host to a group of local swimmers. It is also a great walk with a spot for food nearby at Cornaleas. Definitely worth a visit.
