Immaculately clean and professionally staffed and managed. Friendly efficient staff. Really made welcome. Flavoursome quality meals. Dog friendly rooms are great. Straight out to a private decking then onto grass. Very competitive prices. Fantastic views fight down the loch. Will be returning soon.Rooms: 5/5
Great location with astonishing views from the room. The room is cozy with a large but clean bathroom. However, the voice insulation of the sea-view room is not so good since I could hear the snoring from other guests. I really enjoyed my time in the hotel restaurant and bar. All the workers were kind and helpful. Before arriving I thought the dinner menu seemed a little expensive but I realized it is worth the price once I entered the dining room with beautiful sea view and tried the delicious food. Considering the location of hotel, it is better if you drive there. Otherwise it will be hard for you to find too many activities around the hotel.
Most friendly staff we’ve ever experienced after staying at well over 50 hotels in Scotland. Special shout out has to go to Emma who looked after us so well during our stay. We stayed in room 24, walls were a bit thin so had some difficulty getting to sleep, but overall rooms were clean & views unbeatable. Hotel kindly accommodated us with use of the library for an all day meeting we had, nothing was ever a problem. Food was excellent at hotel restaurant, we went back 3 days in a row, nothing compared locally! We’ll definitely be back.
The hotel is located on a very picturesque bit of coastline and the service and food are first class. Unfortunately the rooms in the new block superior and pet friendly suffer from very poor sound proofing and you can hear everything through the walls and floors if you are on the ground floor also most of the doors stick so you hear a lot banging and slamming making sleeping very hard. Probably the worst couple of nights sleep ive ever had.
Visited for afternoon tea as a treat whilst staying in the area. Really disappointing. Different sandwiches to what was stated on website menu and despite having booked 48h in advance and let them know one of us was vegetarian that had not been communicated. Asked for cucumber sandwiches this was ignored and given even more egg sandwiches instead, plus roasted vegetables which was not very nice to eat in a white bread sandwich. Cakes were disappointing - smaller selection than website menu stated. Large plain scone which was dry and not very nice. Had to request jam and cream not homemade jam - again contrary to menu. Carrot cake topping unpleasant. No choice of tea offered, had to pay extra for soft drinks for our children. £106.70 for the four of us to have a disappointing afternoon tea that fell well below expectations.

Firstly, a great thank you for looking after my wife and mother in law. They truly did have a marvellous time. Reception communication was very good keeping them updated at all times. Rooms just a little freshen up, however they are of good quality especially the ones looking out to the seashore. Food was extremely good and the service very prompt. Again our thanks in making an 88 year old lady very happy and taking away wonderful memories. They will be back next year all going well. Kudos to you all
Staying in the area self catering, saw the Hotel on passing so booked an evening meal. Lovely place, great views, friendly staff, comfortable surroundings and great food. Liked it so much, have decided if we come back to this area will stay here, can't say better than that.Service: 5/5
